When we’re better able to receive criticism, we’re more likely to grow from it. In this course, participants will learn to recognize the ways that listening behaviors can function in receiving crucial conversation, including verbal and nonverbal responses to messages. Participants will explore scenarios of closed or passive listening behaviors and practice a range of active and inclusive responses to difficult conversations. They’ll also develop their abilities as empathic listeners; fostering trusting and inclusive interactions.
