Course: Introduction to Collaborative Care for Students

Audience: Non-Creighton Health Professions students

This online, self-paced course (IPE 500) provides a basic introduction to the concepts of interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) for non-Creighton health professions students. The course is designed to be .5 credits or 8 contact hours.

Students receive an introduction to:

  • Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice 
  • Roles and responsibilities of health care providers on the team
  • Health care team development and dynamics

The course is integrated with cases for application and knowledge growth.
