Has a coworker or friend ever come to you for advice on an ethical dilemma? How did you help them deal with the situation? This workshop explores why employees sometimes don’t speak up when it comes to ethical issues and how to counsel someone who makes a report. Participants will practice four tools to develop confidence in giving advice about ethics issues.


In this course, participants will learn to:

  • Differentiate an informal ethical culture from a formal ethical culture
  • Evaluate why employees don’t speak out about ethics issues
  • Explore skills needed to be a trusted, engaged, and helpful advisor
  • Build ethics first advisor skills through practice
