The best leaders understand themselves and have the capacity to understand others. Participants in this course will learn to identify components of identity, how these components are embodied and expressed through roles, and consider, through self-reflection, ways to empathize with others. Participants will articulate aspects of their own identities and roles, as well as consider the diversity of these for others. Participants will examine practices of “Just Culture” and consider moments in which empathizing with others would enhance goodwill and trust during conversations about problems and mistakes.
