This online training session takes a close look at common ethical conflicts you may encounter in victim services and how to apply ethical standards and decision-making to resolve them. During the three-hour session, participants will:
- Increase self-awareness and understanding of how attitudes and beliefs influence responses to victims of crime
- Become familiar with and apply the Standards for Victim Assistance Programs and Providers developed by the National Victim Assistance Standards Consortium
- Learn to recognize when a person is acting in an ethically questionable way
- Explore how to use a decision-making process when faced with an ethical dilemma
